OK, This is what I have been trying to explain. You may understand this, or it may be an epic fail..lolz.
FTR; Red means where player should be prior to playMaroon where player should be during/after playBlack is direction of players movementPurple is Storm playerGreen is passYellow is kick
H= one of the Halves; F= Foward; FB= Fullback; C= Centre; W= Wing
This is the typical Bronco backline movement we see every single game
This is the typical Storm goaline defense
This is the 2 together. IMO, our movement would be sut down when the half attepts to offload or the Fullback or centre get a medicine ball with defence right in their face.
This is the cut out ball I suggest. Risky, as it would be a long ball, across the face of 3 defenders, but there would be massive room in behind the backline if the winger catches it.
A grubber in behind (or chip kick if 15/20 metres out) would also expose the space in behind the defensive line.
Anyone understand it? What do you think are negatives?
