Things That Brought About Change in Rugby League

the nrl shouldn’t have gone to the extent of punishing the attacking team, with 7 tackles, for knocking on while scoring a try or a short grubber kick on the 5th going dead.
Also marginally forward passes and "double movements" that require ten minutes of forensic scrubbing to judge.

And bring back the biff.

Rugba league players have little idea how to smother a kick .
Arms up is #1 ,#2 then attack the kicker on his kicking leg . ie if he`s right footed go to that side . The have to drop the ball on that side .

I see attempts at charge downs that ignore the details and don`t get anywhere near the kick .

Walsh did one of the best charge downs last week since Steve Price was still playing .
They don't seem to have that task of making a smooth kick. It's not dancing :) The harder it is, the more masculine it looks.

Hello to all rugby fans :)

Might be early to say, but I think Walsh might be adding to this.

He is similar to Locky in how he played fullback being very creative based in the position with the halves skills though he never actually come from being a half which is insane, but he has all the Speed and agility as well that we have seen from the best who don't have that being primarily runners.

For his age I don't think we have ever seen a fullback who has this many skills combined with his running ability in one package, he is still full of errors but you can see that he is basically the swiss army knife at this point that just needs a bit of sharpening.

The big test for Walsh will be when he starts to lose that speed, and how he manages that. Long way off that though :)

Honestly not concerned about that at all. He's got the ball-playing to still be a massive threat. He is elite in every sense of the word and he is just getting started. Terrifying for the rest of the comp.

At that point you probably just throw him in the halves, he'll still have the creativity and ball-playing ability. That's something you just don't lose.

That just seems like it would make the gap between the better teams and worse teams even bigger on the ladder as the better teams would just chose the worse teams as their jokers and most likely get the 4 points, while the worse teams would have to hope they can beat a fellow worse team by more than 10.

Tigers would just be the Joker team every round.

I have a better idea, Corey.

If a team wins, they get the odds that are being offered for that team to win in points. So if the Tigers are playing the Panthers, the odds would be something like $12 for the tigers and $1.03 for the panthers. If the tigers win, they get 12 points. If the panthers win, they get 1.03 points. And if the team is winning at half time but loses, they get a bonus bet to put on another match and if they can correctly select the winner of that match, they also get those points as well.

I'm going to put it to PVL. He is keen to grow the gambling dollar. Think of the opportunities to get a bookmaker on board to sponsor the idea.

Go Crazy Wtf GIF

Skeptical because Clarkey and hopefully said in jest

But jesus fucking christ, Corey

I wonder how far down the depths of embarrassing quotes he’ll go
It wasn't in jest, I listened to it and he sounded dead serious to me but I don't know if the context was "what's your crazy idea".
