Goes to show how great Wally was.

As amazing as JT has been at this level, King is nearly twice as good in certain categories if not more than others.

Only stat JT has the King covered is Try Assists and Tackles. The latter amazes me somewhat but the former not so much given the 10m rule.

Could also make the argument that JT had more quality around him than Wally. Which isn't to say the likes of Murray, Conescu and Scott were scrubs but I don't think they're as good as Lockyer, Smith and Slater respectively.

What a ticker King Wal had! For a reasonably big man, that many carries, minutes, metres. Wow! Thurston is awesome in that he is a smaller bloke who really cops a flogging. Both are true QLD champions in my opinion.

Last 2 years weren't very good for Thurston in Origin, but you'd still think he could be in the top 5 greatest Origin players of all time.
Lewis is called "The King" for a reason though.

Wally's stats are nuts, what a player. Got Lockyer's origin stats? 1910

Not sure why people (besides Unbreakable) have forgotten about Lockyer all of a sudden. JT hasn't come close to him.

Because JT is playing on Wednesday and Lewis is the greatest Origin player of all time.

I'm sure if you tweet Badel he may share them.

Then again, Lockyer would be lucky to make my GOAT Origin team...

Because Lockyer isn't about to equal Lewis for games played in three days.
