Hello All

I was wondering if anyone knows how the ticketing is working for the 17th of July at Suncorp Stadium, with the double header. Is it if you get one ticket to the Broncos game you will be able to get into the Doggies game. Any help would be awesome.

Pretty sure the NRL will release special pricing for that night, it won't be standard Broncos home game prices. Ring Ticketek and ask, they might know by now.

It lists a Souths supporters bay (Away team bay they have every game) and a Bulldogs supporters bay.

On July 17, Suncorp Stadium will host a double header of NRL action!

To kick off the blockbuster night, the WOW Brisbane Broncos will take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs, and following on from this game the Canterbury Bulldogs will host the Gold Coast Titans.

Brisbane Broncos South Sydney Rabbitohs 6.30pm
Canterbury Bulldogs Gold Coast Titans 8.30pm

By purchasing a ticket you gain entry to both games - two for the price of one!

There is a designated Rabbitohs away supporter bay in section 317, and a designated Bulldogs bay in section 326.

By pre-purchasing your ticket, you also have access to free public transport to and from the game.

I thought the NRL had a policy that teams playing Monday could not be scheduled for the following Friday?

Spot on. In fact the double header is only going ahead thanks to the goodwill of the Titans. They were well within their rights to say no to the proposal but told the NRL they were willing to sufer the short turnaround so the double header could go ahead.

That great gesture coupled with Brisbane's similar goodwill in taking the semi final to Townsville a couple of years ago shows why Queensland is now the home of rugby league. St George had a chance to take friday night's game to the SFS in front of 35-40k and they chose not to. I can respect their wish to play more games at Kogarah but rugby league's not travelling well enough to lock out 15,000 people.

In seriousness, IIRC there's 4 main changing rooms. Usually the U20s have one lot of 2, and first grade the other.

I imagine it'll work similarly with the double header.
