The fact paix was a threat to billy's spot in the team. All of a sudden he gets blacklisted, never to be seen again.

Correct, its all speculation. You can't "almost guarantee" anything on speculation. I don't really care to be honest, I just wanted to point out how ridiculous you sound.

It follows a pattern of what was going on regarding the hooking position. Alot of people had to make way for Billy over the last few years. There's a reason he was our only hooking option not off contract this year. All by kev's design.

But still just all speculation. Could be correct, but could also be completely wrong. Maybe Walters was just the best 9 out of the options we had (which I personally think he was - especially in 2023 - resigning in early 24).

Only because we never even looked at the market for a better one. Kev wasn't interested in a ben hunt return.

yeah that comment never sat right with me. That was a protective dad, not a coach. People were giving praise to a wonderful game by a junior - looking to give him a pat on the back and Kev had to shine the light on his own blood. Was an absolute brain dead remark and led to a lot of speculation.

I think we didn't need to look for one, given we made a grand final with that team, and we had players like Mozer coming through.
Noting that the comment was weird.
But that's not the point. It's all speculation.

If he starts catering to the hearts and minds of the supporters he`s already lost the plot out the gate .
Winning is all that matters . If a player is the best option for the team he`s in DGAF what social media has to say about it .

That would mean Ezra has been outstanding in Q Cup for a cpl of weeks and is a better option than Hunt at #6 . And that Hunt at #9 is a better option than Bill . Some dilemas coming up .

The team list Tuesday week will be a lot closer to what will run out Rnd 1 .
Someone posted it here I think but it's all just speculation anyway. Like you say, better to wait for the team list before flying off the deep end over BiLlY wAlTeRs!!!
