The titans got a lot of momentum from that intercept to Gordon and it was hard for the broncos to reverse it. How important did Lockyer's chase become when we were only up by two late in the game? Defence needs a lot of work, we made the likes of Walker and Meyers look much better than they really are. Anyway, congratulations on earning a home final and now try to sustain that first half performance for 80 minutes.

Did anyone hear about Cartwright's rant after the game? What a whinger. As for Folau's second try, I thought it was pretty clear cut that Walker swerved into his path...

If they didn't award the try, we deserved a penalty.

Folau is entitled to push him away IMO, he shouldn't have to deal with that kind of crap every week.

Just logged on. Don't have time to read it all now, but I've just finished watching my recorded replay. Don't know what I should think of that. On the one hand, happy we won. On the other, I can't believe we let them get that close. Nothing wrong with the attack, but the defence, especially in the 2nd half, was abysmal, and that's being kind. Overall though, we did enough to win so I guess I've got to be happy with that. Must improve the defence massively to go any further though. Need to get back to the defence we showed in the last few rounds, where was that tonight?

I've got no nails left. Haven't felt more nervous during a game of footy that I did during that last 30 minutes. Talk about a tale of two halves. We were sensational in the first half and more than had their measure. Unfortunately the Gordon intercept lead to a stunning momentum shift which we did well to briefly halt. Our two intercept tries were timely. Thank christ we built up a big lead because they had us on the rack. I hope the focus is on defence because we can't afford to miss that many tackles next week.

Oh and big ups to the crowd. It was unbelievably loud and worthy of comparison with an Origin crowd. The Titans totally fed off the crowd during the second half. The Broncos fans were awesome too and did the club proud.

i saw that on fox sports news and had a laugh to myself... the two things he was having a go at the ref for, the ref got 100% right. The first was Walker swerving into Folau's path (then Folau running over the top of him) and that a try was awarded for that. just in case he hasn't read the rule book, you can't deliberately run into a players path if they haven't got the ball, just to stop them getting it and scoring.

the second thing he pointed out was when Walker shoved Lockyer over when he didn't have the ball. once again you can't do that.

Very concerned with the way we've let teams back into the contest recently(cowboys, raiders and now titans), the storm, dogs, and dragons will finish us off in those situations. We just keep making silly mistakes and giving away penalties at crucial stages. If we can play like we did for the 1st half for 80mins we'll be hard to beat.

Deadset how good is Jharal Yow Yeh, so safe on kick returns, gets out of the in goal area, always breaks a couple of tackles and gets really quick play the balls, a couple of times tonight he played the ball that quick karmichael had to sprint to get to dummy half! Awesome Stuff! So glad Yow Yeh has cemented his spot and Izzy is finding his feet with big dave and antonio out in the centres! awesome!

I agree although the Titans were always going to come back.. The Broncos vs Titans tend to always be high scoring see-sawing games though. Defence is still a worry but we have the attack to blow teams apart IMO.
