Going back through the NRL era, it's Sydney who finished 13th in 2012.

I remember that because I thought Penrith still held that distinction but they actually finished 12th.

Well roosters came 15th in 2016 and got to 2nd on the ladder in 2017

I'm not sure. Think they went through a quick roosters style rebuild

That was the year with the pearce-dog thing, i am pretty sure. He was out for the beginning of the year and the roosters didnt win any games at the start of the season and only a few later on.

2016 was the year Maloney, RTS and Jennings left, Pearce had his issue with the dog and from memory they lost some vital players like Cordner for the first half of the year to injury and they never recovered

Broncos Vs Raiders 2021 Grand final after Broncos finish 5th. Cowboys finish 9th and Titans 8th after a battle for the last top 8 spot. Titans knocked out first week of the finals.

I could live with that. Stranger things have happened (or have they?). I expect the Bronco's improvement to be immediate but gradual. Whether that converts into anything decent, we'll have to wait and see.

Well let's be real, anything but a 30-40 poiint thrashing with the team having no game plan or heart would be an improvement . I think we should be a bit reaistic in the improvement we're hoping for straight up .
I'm looking for a team who puts in for each other and doesn't throw the towel in when things get a bit tough. That at least would make it a bit easier to watch them, as to be honest last year was downright depressing.
It won't take much for confidence to grow, but some self belief in each other and their systems and coaching staff will do wonders.
