The Parker to 10 hysteria is ridiculous, both positions play middle third, only difference is that 13 is more defence and 10 is more attack. He will do less defence at prop and more work with the ball so how it will blunt his offloads I am unsure. He will do more work early in the set- his work load has just shifted.

I thought Parker should have been first choice before Thaiday to move to prop last year.

It seems some of the coaching / team placement decisions are always about 12 mnths behind from when they should have been made.

I'm guessing with the amount of explaining you just did, Parker at 10 is going to be permanent.

I don't see the difference either 1910. It's no different to when Gallen plays prop. The only thing that really changes is the number on his back

Yep and now everyone can be amazed that a prop forward can play hard for 80 minutes when Parker plays. Just like they're amazed when Gallen does it.

Maybe Hook is so confident in our attack now that we have Barba, he's decided to go with Maranta over Vidot for the added defense / safety under the high ball, that's probably his thinking, it's still horrible though, surely there's someone better out there than Maranta who knows how to catch and tackle.

He doesn't like players backing themselves down the sideline (ad lib creative stuff is baaad) so he'll pick the guy who steps on it.

kind of excited to see the CP10 rule unfold, providing his creativity isn't dulled too much as has been said. and is it just me or is that one of the greatest opportunities to have a solid defensive lock play 80 to make the opportunity for greater prop rotation? or are we paying stagg for his clubmanship (injury notwithstanding) (i <3 u david... yep, said that in public forum baby...) and lowrie for his premiership-winning advice??? good to have one part of the equation disambiguated tho.. how will parker fare in the middle ball in hand earlier in the sets.
