I think this disgraceful act warrants a thread of its own.

I was too busy being euphoric last night after we won to really care, but come today, I cannot believe that Peachey wasn't sent off.

What he did was much worse than throwing a punch or a high tackle, and he did it on purpose and after the whistle.

Heat of the moment maybe, but I am just disgusted and bewildered that we have players in the game willing to do such a thing after seeing what happened to Alex McKinnon, and the gutless fucking refs don't want to deal with it. Oh, she'll be right, Adam wasn't hurt, we'll just put the young fella on report for someone else to deal with later. **** off you useless *****, make a fucking stand that this kind of shit is unacceptable. Where is the deterrent?

Peachey has to be gone for the rest of the season, but he won't be.

I don't give a shit if the NRL thinks the send off is dead, that **** should've walked. Every day of the week.

I'm surprised at how easily Peachey was able to lift him and dump him on his head..

He should have been sent. It's ridiculous they don't use it more often. Now the next team benefits from it when he gets suspended.

So in the grand final, play as dirty as possible, because you won't get sent off anyway. Brilliant tactic.

That was the biggest dog act I've seen on the footy field this year, Blair was completely off guard and he got dumped on his head. Tyrone Peachey the scum bag, if he doesn't get 10 weeks plus the NRL and the judiciary are a joke.

He should get a long stint on the sidelines but the reality is he'll get 2 weeks with an early plea because the judiciary are about as consistent as the bounce of the ball and extremely gutless.

If Blair was 10cm shorter than he might not be walking today. It's very lucky that he lands on the back of his head and not on the top of it, but it's purely by luck.

It's a simply disgusting tackle and I'm amazed that Peachey was allowed to play on.

The NRL are in a perfect position now to send a message on that type of shit....

So far for dangerous throws they have handed down a 9 week suspension and an 8 week suspension...

The Peachey one was worse than both of them ... Not only did he land on his head and neck, but it was after the whistle was blown.

And i don't for one second buy that he didn't hear the whistle ... But even if that was true, after he knocked the ball on, he ended up with it. That means the ball is dead, so Blair couldn't make any ground anyway. Surely he has been playing and watching league long enough to know that ... He heard the whistle, he just didn't give a shit, he wanted to take is frustrations out on someone and he chose Blair at that moment.

Calling it a dog act is being generous to Peachey.

Come on judiciary send a message... But they are not consistent enough to do that.

I'm surprised at how easily Peachey was able to lift him and dump him on his head..

He just had to lift his legs to a certain point, then Blair's weight does the rest.

That is by far the grubbiest act of the year so far, worse than Reynolds trip. If he doesn't get 10 weeks, it's a disgraceful message to send, that you can illegal spear tackle a player in stoppage time to take out your frustration. The **** needs to cop every book in the library across the back of his head.

Calling it now. 1 week with an early guilty plea.

Watch him blame Corey Parker for no reason like Bird did.

I think it's pretty sad that, although Peachey should have been sent off or at least binned, it was no surprise to anyone that the refs just put it on report and moved on. Spearing a player after the ball is dead and the whistle blown is just the cheapest of cheap shots but the NRL has form in refusing to deal with it on the field.

At this rate the opening scene from The Last Boy Scout would only warrant a stern talking to and perhaps the refs might warn the captain that if it happens again someone might get sin binned.

At some point a punch resulting in an automatic send off became a punch is the only way you can get sent off.

If this wasn't a sin bin I don't know what is.

Also while I respect the attitude and that it was the heat of the moment, Macca and hunts action straight after could've had horrible consequences had Blair been dealing with a neck injury.

Should've been sin binned at least I was amazed he was allowed to play on. If he doesn't get a suspension that will be fucked.

Penrith should terminate his contract. Aside from the extremely dangerous tackle itself, Peachey's brain snap stupidity and vicious negligence is a liability to both his club and any player on the opposing team. He shouldn't be in the game ... like Bird
