"Unprovoked" attack on Watmough and Matai

Read in the Telegraph today that Manly aren't pushing for the players to press charges.
The cynical part of me thinks that may be because if it does get to that stage, more details about Matai and Watmough might come out.

Sources say the players noticed a young woman crying in the street and asked about her welfare.

If true, well done.

Yeah, good Samaritan and all. Still if I saw a party full of Islanders and a girl crying outside the house I'd straight away assume that she just got dumped or whatever by her big Islander boyfriend, thus I'd stay well clear and not bother to ask how she's doing because chances are, you're going to have some big islander boys come out and say "Aye bro, what's it to you huh, mind your own business and shit alright, want me to smash your face in aye?"

^ This is MOST likely what is going to happen so -
unless you're a big guy (and you'll still get smashed 8 on 1 most likely) you might get seriously done. (glassed, shanked etc)
