Because they build it up to be this monumental exciting event when in actual fact is a bunch of footballers who have no sprinting technique running over 100m without a ball that degenerates into a dull spectacle about 40m into the race.

Yes, I'm sure we are all curious as to who would beat who and whatever but trust me...it's better in theory than in practice
