Broncos coach Ivan Henjak will decide between youngsters Ben Hunt and Corey Norman with Hunt favoured to be Darren Lockyer's new halves partner against Canterbury in Sydney on Friday night.

"He's had the scan ... it's bad news," Henjak said.

"It's a high-grade tear.

"You don't really know with those, it's a minimum of four weeks if everything goes right, but it could easily be longer."

Wallace was carving up Cronulla in the Broncos' 44-16 demolition on Sunday before suffering the injury in the second half.

"He was having his best game by a country mile but we have to move on," Henjak said.

It obviously has to be Hunt.

That sucks, he was getting his confidence back and we were starting to enjoy him. Good news for Hunt though, let's see how he holds up Friday night. Go Broncos!

Well of Course, Wallace goes down and ive been copping shit for ages that I jinxed Peter Wallace.

Well the other day at the Cronulla game, just to prove it couldn't be me who is jinxing him, I said to my mate, "what do you think will happen if Wallace goes down injured this game? do you think we will put Ben Hunt in the 7?" and then Wallace goes down again.

Sims is the new clinton. He is a good player but the club decides they don't want him so he gets treated like shit. He should be in there on the bench at least.

Haha I actually said tipped that Sims was going to be the new Clinton for this year, in the pre season. Looks like I jinxed him. :evil:

As much as it pains me to say this because Sims is my favourite player, I really think he should start shopping around for a new club, it's what best for him. He will never get to show his true potential here becuase Ivan will just drop him every chance he gets. He can be a great player and I even think he can be a future rep player. It's just that Ivan seems to have it in for him and because of that doesn't play him.

On Wallace though, this is terrible news.
