Where to From Here? Let's Plan for 2021...er...2025

Ah yes, 1983: the day the music died.
This is fucking hilarious in so many ways.

After a little research, I believe it was our very own Olivia Newton-John that was the biggest female pop star pre-Madonna.

This is the crux of the matter. Injuries are a legitimate excuse for Seibold but what there is no excuse for are these:

- Wingers coming in not identified or addressed
- Non-Performing players held unaccountable
- Not addressing half time fade outs (Gentle did it in one week)
- Players are unfit
- No defensive structure at all
- No attacking structure
- Not picking Dearden
- Picking Luke over Paix
- Terrible bench usage week in week out (Again Gentle addressee this in one week)
- Everyone looks too serious, Gentoe addresses this in one week
- No ability to read a game and adjust bench use, Yount did this in his first game and Gentle did it one week
- Discipline issues with the players
- Players stagnating or regressing, very very few improving
- Not sticking with some of the lesser lights who are putting in
- Chopping and changing player positions

This is not the full list either, he can’t coach, at least he can’t coach this team
Absolutely nailed it.

He must be a stubborn **** because he's a shit coach and I see absolutely no sign of him changing things. Maybe Gentle taking over for two weeks and the team actually improving might wake him up that his ideas aren't so crash hot and should be subject to change.

The half time split thing is dumb as shit, I mean at the start I wasn't against it, because it's always worth trying different tactics but when the team is absolute shit, you surely try to change things up, refocus on fundamentals, assess why the team is playing so bad and make changes and measure the difference. The Glenn interview was alarming, it basically reeked of players telling him the training was not good and it took about 7 floggings before he agreed to relent and change it for a week. Then you have Boyd quitting the leadership group because he won't listen to him. Then you have TPJ who basically couldn't care what he says, James Roberts thought he was a dick. Milford refused to play the position he told him to play. It can't be all these players who are wrong, it's 100% his "leadership" that's fucked.

Any of these in isolation, I'd ignore, but it's just story after story of players not agreeing with his methods yet he sticks with them. How the team performs this week will be telling, particularly if he goes straight back to his shit bench use, and we get flogged in the second half.

Board meeting with Seibs confirmed.

Finally they are going to clean up their mess. Took them long enough.

Probably just to welcome him back.

Meeting cartoon

Hes a dead duck. The meeting will be to see if he has anything to actually change the situation, which he doesn't. Its pretty much fatum factum and will be deciding the way the payout goes.

Demas got a late night ahead of him putting together those all important spreadsheets and presentations for tomorrow's meeting

If he is to meet with the board it won’t be in person because of the bubble, which means he could have had it at anytime in the last two weeks anyway. This whole media narrative around him coming out of isolation like it’s going to be D-day for a decision on his future is rubbish.

The board doesn’t have the guts to sack him but if they somehow go opposite to everything else they have done and do the right thing, respect.

But surely they’ve painted themselves into a corner. By sacking him they’ve admitted they made a massive **** up, both in football and financial terms, and given shareholders the ammunition to call for them to resign or be replaced. Hence why nothing has been done yet
