Dont see the problem with boyd being involved, its not like he is going to be lining up at fullback.

Really happy to see Gillo around the club. Classy move by Kev. I always wonder how much Gillo was pushed out and how legitimate his retirement was.

usually by making bigger money offers. then clubs releasing instead of having an unhappy player on their hands
No, usually a player is surplus to a club and they require a different balance to us. Currently we are stacked for forwards so can let a couple over paid players like Offa and perhaps lodge go. But we have no backs. South's appear rather stacked for their backs.

To be honest, we will probably get points docked for being over the cap. We are probably still paying for every player that has left over the past 3 years.

This is exactly right. It's simply not based in reality to suggest that only off-contract players make movements between clubs in any given offseason.

The Roosters and Souths seem to manage it at will and without being the top bidder all the time. Hell, the Roosters seem to recruit guys who are under contract without any other club even getting a look in.

A little over 3 months, this is going to be the shortest time between footy ending and footy starting up again.

To be honest our season depends on discipline, fitness and tpj, Lodge, Milford, Oates and whoever our fullback is going to be give us their money’s worth
