Cotric could play fullback there, the Bulldogs haven't had a settled fullback for years, but i think he was initially recruited to play centers.

the real question that needs to be asked, is if Kevvie is interested in Allen ... because if he isn't talk about recruiting him is a moot point

He plays a similar style to Boyd when he was good. Not lightning quick but a well rounded fullback who can create and finish off chances. He'd help Milford and Dearden out a lot i'd imagine. Big ask for those two who are still trying to find their feet at NRL level with someone like Tesi Niu out the back.

he is a excellent shape runner, see SOO game 3, if Holmes wasn't a useless winger, he would have scored three tries in that game and Allen was heavily involved in each one...think Boyd at his best but instead of 20 metre cutout pass he draws the centre and winger in and passes to the unmarked winger outside...

Not the finished article though...he will need a lot of work defensively and under the high ball to be elite....but he has a strong floor.

The idea is he reaches his ceiling here at this club...

He support plays with the best (though without the speed of a Teddy or power of a Mitchell).. He has a beautiful pass on him, plays the third man link perfectly, has a really good read of the game and isn't afraid to step up in big moments. Not only that, he is always talking with his spine and isn't afraid to direct his team around. There have been comments that he is not willing to put his body on the line but I don't agree with that. He is also an unselfish player, isn't afraid to throw the pass even if it means someone else gets the try. He also make big return metres. But the big weapon is his playmaking.

The fact he says Lodge is almost on a million dollars and will get a pay rise to go to NZ is systematic of the absolute basket case trolling journalism has become. If they want to create click bait can they at least make up figures that are relatively close to what other media entities have reported to make it at least a bit more believable?

So we are expected to believe Lodge is on almost a million and the Warriors have offered him a pay rise to what I am assuming is over a million to go to the Warriors? Even after signing $800,000 Addin Fonua Blake?

Forgetting the absurdity of the financial reporting side of things for a second, if we lose Lodge (who was one of the few players who actually seem to give a **** about the dire situation the club was in) on top of who we have let go and we let go of Ofa as well, then we had better be making some fucking astute signings for 2021 over this pre season because we cannot be that hard up for fucking cap space with the names we gave let go. Next thing you know there will reports that we still can’t afford anyone because Milford is in fact on a 2 million dollar back ended deal. I’m trying my best to be patient but it seems like clubs like The Dogs and Warriors are freely buying quality players to boost their squad whilst we are blood shedding a wooden spoon winning squad with Albert fucking Kelly as our only signing on a train and trial deal.

We must be running a reserve grade side out in 2021. Even though we had to get rid of some deadwood, when you don’t have much coming the other way, I feel like we are potentially just going to piss away 2021 before it even begins. The Board blamed Covid for 2020, now they can blame the roster if 2021 goes in the same trajectory since the club lives excuses.

Maybe the boards end game is to set up Kevvie to fail just to prove that the Seibold decision wasn’t a complete **** up. Wouldn’t surprise me with the egotistical muppets running the show. I hope for Kevin’s sake he gets the best out of the cattle he is got because he is going to need them all to play close to their potential if we are to be competitive in 2021. We are bordering on 2015-2017 Newcastle and 2018-19 Bulldogs levels of roster management.
