Which player do you want the broncos to buy and let go off?

Hey Guys,

Basically a thready to see who wants to ship some players out this year and sign some fresh ones in season 2009. Try and be as realistic as possible!

Well we're about 2 weeks from kickoff, so 2009 is not really realistic.

But I'd get rid of DeVere. That's it.

And I don't reckon PJ will get much of a shot this year, he's too injury prone and I'd like to think Gorrell and McCullough are both ahead of him in the pecking order.

I've got high hopes for Clinton this year too! I really hope he can regain the form of 2003, and that old mate Ivan gives him plenty of minutes. He really is our forwards leader this year! As scary as that is...

Talking for 2010, we will need to get rid of 1 of our hookers. So it would either be P.J or Gorrell.

De vere is only here for 1 season, hopefully.

And like every1 else Sims and Clinton have to have their best year of their lives. if not we have new guys coming up or we look elsewhere. But i think Clinton and Kenny will do the job this year.

I recall one of the Admins mentioning Justin Poore if Clinton doesn't perform we should release him and go after Poore.

I'd release PJ, good player but too injury prone.

Poore would be an awesome buy! I rate him as one of the best props going around at the moment. How that powderpuff White got selected ahead of him for Origin last year amazed me.

Then again the fact that White is selected for first grade amazes me too.

id keep PJ around tbh, can cover a few positions (halves & hooker) and is an experienced NRL player. Definately a quality bench player. I think this is a season where our forwards will have to show their worth, we have a number of fringe quality players in the forwards we need some of them to become NRL quality forwards.

No way. We'd win the wooden spoon for sure.

There's no way you could buy that combination and remain under the salary cap.

Maybe if their wasn't a salary cap. We'd be lucky to make the 8 with that combination.
