Not specifically player aimed but just positional performance that you think will make the most difference to us performing best for 2025.

For me it's either Second row or Hooker, probs more left side second row as I feel Riki could do the job if we are in form, But I voted Hooker as we need stability at a high level there, it's close tho I think Piakura is our weakest position in our top 13 on most days.

I voted 9 but it could have easily been 11 or 12.
Mozer needs a few more games under his belt and Riki and Piakura need to improve and find their beast mode. They both need a bit of mongrel, a bit of Madge’s tougher side.

Hard to argue second row but honestly, I think it is our entire back five. Modern NRL relies so much on momentum and early metres in a set and we missed Herbie’s metres so much last year. The team struggled to get on the front foot as a result. This falls on our wings especially but really, the centres too.

Not just Herbie's running meters either .The penalties he gets awarded for getting hit high .Help get his team upfield as well .

You watch Billy Walters go to a new level......

I didn't say it will be up.....but
Daddy gone might fire up the mongrel in him.

Every position needs a big uplift from 2024. I don't think there was any player who shouldn't be playing much better.

In saying that, I would like to see our 6 and 7 take more control of the game (and get a bit more creative). We became way to obvious, especially in attack, in 2024.

Agreed, everyone needs a lift.

I think our 13 couldnt have done a lot more.

Nah even he can be better. While you can't fault his effort (and his stats reflect it), I noticed a lot of plays dying with him when players rushed is outside - which he would then just hold the ball and make some cheap metres instead. While that's safe, some additional options (like a short ball on the inside or an offload) could make the whole thing better.

And that's where a link man 13 can become predictable.

I think in those instances Patty needs one of his middles running a support line outside him... if they rush up the outside he needs a short option to go to or he can decide to show and go himself.

I think if Patty has options he is becoming good enough to pick the right one most times

Patrick is a moral to benefit from our change in coaching. Payne is another that will grow to greater heights if origin is any indication. Can’t wait.
