Who is your fav non-Bronco player of the last 10 years?

STEVE PRICE

Why? Because the man is humble, intelligent, a great role model off the field, an even better role model on the field. Loves his team, loves playing footy, has tremendous passion in whatever interests he persues.

A true gentleman of the game and simply a legend.

Easily sits in the top 5 Props I ever seen. Gives 100%, no matter if it's on or off the field.

P.S. He's very dreamy as well.

Now is probably the time to mention it though Hammo, he's not that good a player. Very dependable, but not within a bull's roar of the likes of Shane Webcke, Glenn Lazarus, Greg Dowling, Petero Civoniceva or Steve Roach.

*cuts tension with a knife*

I can hear Hammo building into a rage as I type this...

You don't follow Rugby League then? So, the only reason you are on BHQ must be to get bites from people?

Hahah yes, because I disagree with your overenthusiastic appraisal of the value of Steve Price it means I know nothing about football. That's fine mate, if that helps you sleep at night :P

Facts are:
1. Steve Price has little if any ability to offload
2. Steve Price rarely if ever causes any pain when he tackles people
3. Steve Price is an excellent metre eater
4. Steve Price is an excellent player positionally in defence
5. Steve Price is a good worker and gives 100% every game he plays

If not for points 1 and 2 I'd put him somewhere near the top 5-10 props I've ever seen, but the fact is week in week out he's not up there. However, granted, he can produce at Origin level when it's needed. He's one of those rare players who is actually better at Origin level than club level. A bit like Wally Lewis...but without the ability.

My fav non-Bronco is Scotty Prince. I always loved him and I was shattered when the Broncos let him go..

In produced all through 2008 to be the lynchpin (along with Wiki) in securing a semi spot for the Warriors. He is the 2nd best prop in the NRL. There are other Props (who all hail from NZ) who may challenge that mantle, yet they can't stay injury-free.

P.S. The best prop currently in the NRL, can't offload either. In fact, not very many props can offload and nearly none of the greats (well, greats in my time) have been able to offload. At least not without having us all hold our breathe when they attempt it.

P.P.S. Best charge-down man I have ever seen.

Who is the best prop in the NRL?

Well I figured that would be the answer, but I was interested to know Hammo's opinion

You didn't ask Hammo's opinion, you asked who the best prop in the NRL is. Petero. There's no other answer.

You should have phrased the question "Who do you think the best prop in the NRL is, Hammo?"

Ahhh grammatical error pick-up master of the universe you are!

I did quote him however, which should be enough [icon_razz1

Brent Kite....

FCB BB AKA MB is the best STFU on BHQ. Take that!

My favourite non-Bronco of the last 10 years is probably Stacy Jones.
