Who is your favourite non-bronco player?

Clint Gutherson. Probably the worst name for a footballer ever but I like the way he plays no nonsense team football.

Despite some thinking he is a hog I see him as a good link to his outside players and backs up all day which is probably his biggest strength

Dex, I think you'll find his critics are merely battlers trying to make it in the tough world of coaching in the Super Virtual Rugby League.

Clinton's return to form was one of the few positives to take out of the Eels disastrous 2016. He struggled to find his place on the wing, making simple errors and failing to make an impact. When Michael Gordon went down against the Bulldogs in Round 9, 2016, Gutherson had far and away his best game at fullback and proved he had something to offer. When they eventually moved him to five-eighth it was like an instant transformation and the Eels once pedestrian attack looked far more lively with his presence.

He's been one of the stand-outs for me so far in 2017. Even in defeat tonight, I thought he was one of the best players on the park.

It's not Hoggman level, but Clint is a ball hog without a doubt... he also brings something Parra has lacked for a while.
Whether he is a half is very much the question, but he won't die wondering.

Probably Thurston. I know its been said a lot about him, but he is the ultimate competitor as well as being the greatest half back of all time.

I find it hard not to like Cam Smith as well. Also used to love watching Inglis when he was at his very best. Just a monster.

Surprised the thread went this far without mentioning Inglis.

Inglis and Cronk are my favourites. Inglis because of his size, strength and speed is just crazy.

Cronk because he is the ultimate professional in my eyes. I have him above JT as a player, but because he plays alongside another great in Cam Smith (and Slater), he doesn't get as much credit.

Use to love Slater before the injuries. What he did during that last Broncos game changed my tune. Don't see why you got to do all that crap for with Boyd

A few years ago, Inglis was definitely up there but the almost constant injuires have taken the shine off. A healthy Inglis is awesome to watch.

Did Daley ever play lock once in his career?

I just know him as a centre/five eighth

Rugby League Project says he played Lock 9 times, half of those occurred in 2000.

Thurston is definitely my favourite...except the times where he's playing against us.
