Who replaces Folau?

Just thinking about the team for us next year and while the forwards IMO are right to stay the same, the backline is going to need a good replacement for Folau. If Tuqiri is in decent form do we shift Boyd to the right wing with him on the left? Or do we blood a young fella? Vidot, Zillman.... maybe even Yow Yeh but I think he might still be a little raw.

Thoughts?

I'd say Vidot as well, let him learn his trade at the end of a pretty slick backline. And, based on his showings in the Four Nations, Tuqiri's over the hill in rep footy as far as I'm concerned.

I like that. If they want to go the Tim Sheens specialist winger :roll: I'd go with Vidot over Yow Yeh or Zillman. He's bigger and more consistent.

He was terrible for the Titans on the wing, definite fullback for mine.

If Tomane improves, he's a player I'd have in the mix.

Inglis plays for souths now. He can no longer play. So we need a left centre. Id play tonga there.

Hodges won't be good enough after his Achilles either so we need a right centre. Who's out there?

I see nothing wrong with Tonga - he had a grim four nations but I have been impressed with is 09/10 origin contribution.

Inglis does not deserve his spot although he always kills it wearing Maroon. If Hodges is not fit, I would go for Tonga and Berrigan in the centres.

Tonga's form at the moment is demanding selection. He had a great game on Friday night. They will need to find a spot for him somehwere in the first 5.

QLD always reward those who have done the job before unless there's a compelling reason not to pick them. But, if we lose game 1, then I wouldn't be surprised if Hodges is the man who pays the price, and either Yow Yeh or Vidot will get a wing spot, and Tonga to the centres (or vice-versa, play Yow Yeh outside his right centre partner at club level).
