**** Karmichael.
**** Karmichael.
He aint coming back ... from what I can tell he's finding his feet in fumble ball and it would seem an odd move for him to pull the pin while things are seemingly on the up for him at the Suns ..
Now that the salary cap is going up, I can see him coming back to league at some point in the near future (once they paychecks are more even). Most likely won't be with us though.
It is a damn shame Coxy ... for my money he would have been skipper nowUnfortunately though, if he'd stayed, I'd say he would've reached his peak in League a couple of years ago. If he came back say in 2015, it'd take him a good 6 months to get back into the swing of league, so you wouldn't see his best until 2016 and that'd still probably be below what he was like when he left.
Damn shame.
J.Hunt has struggled to find a place at any NRL club, We don't need more stop gap solutions. We already have Kemp who while hasn't shown much/anything the last few years has at least shown more than J.Hunt in his career.
Well that's always the case with contracts.
You mean as bad as the Eels defence?Very true. Just watched some vids of Tomkins in ESl. The few examples of his defence were awful ... grabbing and missing, not hitting or going for the legs.
In fact the ESL defensive efforts are absolutely woeful which makes his admittedly good footwork and speed seem more than it is. So yes, Tomkins cutting it in NRL is by no means guaranteed.
I now have doubts about serious coin for him
