Why delayed games are good for the sport.

Contested scrums are SO over-rated. Seeing them try to pack a scrum in Union can be painful a lot of the time. I don't know why League fans are so obsessed with bringing them back.

Because they should be a contest. Not a bunch of blokes holding eachother, while the halfback throws the ball under one leg.

They are friggin stupid and pointless in League. I hate them. I want the to either be a proper physical contest, or scrap them completely.

i'm not too fussed about scrums being a no contest.

imo the whole point (and advantage) of a scrum is a field width of room for the backs to work a big play while the forwards are tied up grabbin a$$

We had the Lebs for the bulldogs there, and the bogans for Titans and Manly.

FWIW - I have watched a lot of union throughout my life - I used to work for the QRU - and still catch games these days (in fact I would have given union more of a chance than you've given the Q Cup), and I find it boring and rarely enjoy it.

I've given Qcup a chance. It's shit.

I love QCup that much that I drove up to Redcliffe to watch a game a month or so back, and I had to deal with a...................................................... CLOSED TUNNEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've given Qcup a chance. It's shit.

But I also gave it a chance before I worked for them and had also done so since I stopped working for them.

And I used to work as part of their game day and events project team. Some of the players from back then I still count as some of my closest friends - but I still think their game is shit and I still tell them often.
