Why won't this Inglis to Broncos rumor go away?

The only reason I read this thread is because it reminds me of how good Kahu is, and because Kahu is the Inglis you need when you don't need Inglis.

As well, does anyone seriously believe Inglis will play for anything less than squillions?

For mine, this is a de facto Kahu Appreciation thread
 
Do we really want Kahu defending on the same as Milford for the whole year?

People slam Reed's defence, but then call for Kahu to replace him like it's going to make a difference. Might score more tries, but we would concede more on that side.

He is better on the right, because our right side defence is better. But to me, he belongs at fullback.

Agree totally. I keep referring to THAT tackle on Bukuya in the vid I posted at 40 secs. I doubt too many outside backs in our roster could do that. Aside from which, I can't exactly see Reed "stopping and turning on a dime" in defence ... and to argue Kahu for FB and then question his defence is a bit odd for mine.

Anyway, isn't there a separate thread for Kahu? Isn' this thread about Inglis's holiday plans?
 
IMO we don't need Inglis. A couple of years ago, yeah, fine. Now? No thanks. Very handy, but I doubt his longevity. He's injured too often these days.

If we can keep all our up-and-comers as well as get GI, under the cap legitimately, then I'd consider it. Otherwise it's a no for mine.
 
I feel like I'm repeating myself but Inglis can get fucked.

The only way I'd consider it a good option, is if the salary cap rises and we have unused cap space.

But I'd rather we use any Inglis money to keep Milford and Hunt long term.

Inglis fucked us over, we owe him nothing, if he wants to be in Brisbane, it has to be a really good deal for us.
 
Before last season started Wayne wanted James Roberts for last season....Just like how we got Milford we tryed to get him early but Ricky didnt budge..Well the plan with G.I happened around the 1st Origin when i started the rumour.. As others have said now that it was blocked twice.. He will get to Brisbane..Just get used to these stories... And as for the other players ol Austin 3.16 goes on about yea i posted articles no different to what any others do...I will say i did say about DCE..That was minutes away from happening..This was occuring when they had doubts about Ben Hunt as did many....Just like i said the broncos sat down with Mundine and Ferguson..But nothing eventuated..This just shows you that they were after centres..They could sit down with many players no different to any other clubs..After all this is a rumour forum..We all love our broncos..
Im set to relocate from Perth to Brisbane in the coming weeks. It will be good to meet up with anyone at the caxton for a beer. I havent been there since 2012. I can assure you im not Dobbo but what he said in december after sharing a ride with kevvie was indeed about G.I but theres a lot involved to move such players..
This is not about whether i want or dont want him either as i tend to agree with his age being a factor. Its exciting times ahead anyhow..

i think you may need to set up your own forum and report on every player and agent who discusses or receives a phone call from prospective clubs. and then vice versa from clubs ringing agents and players. you would be a busy man daniel.
