I don't mind Doherty as a limited overs player. He was hopeless at test level but I think he is a fairly reasonable player in the shorter format.

He's someone who has benefited from playing in a strong team. Rarely does he come on when the other team are well in front of the game and bowling under extreme pressure. I think you'd find he'd have a different record if he did.
