If the Broncos had beaten the Storm in the finals and got to the GF, Hunt and Stewart would be the two fullbacks and Slater would be sitting at home doing sliding kicks on empty beer bottles on the floor.

Plus, it's a joke that Hodges got picked. He's been abysmal this season. I don't normally rate Cooper, but he deserved a spot ahead of Hodges.

Neither here nor there about Thaiday being left out. He's shown good form at times but can't argue with the guys they've picked. Other than Flopsgibbon.

I totally agree on cooper, but also, how didnt jennings make the cut? He has been outstanding this year. Best wouldnt have been out of place either.

Seriously though, this must be proof that orford will never play for AUS or NSW, what else can the poor guy do?!

Imo Creagh is the most under-rated player going around.

I think a lot of it comes down to match fitness, 3+ weeks without a game is hard to get fitness back especially at that kind of level.

I would like to see Monaghan on a wing. Either side we'd have a favourable match-up for bombs. Go to Folau or go to Monaghan, it's win win.

Also I don't think Glen Stewart is really needed in the 17, he plays a real ball playing role and with Smith, Lockyer and Thurston calling the shots we are better off a ball-runner in Laffranchi or Watmough there. Maybe a bench spot to help create opportunities late in the half or something?

I thought Kemp might have been a bolter, he's been near-faultless for the last couple of months, but can't argue with who they picked instead.

Surprised that Crocker made it, I didn't think they normally picked players going to SL.

Hodges is lucky to be there, but obviously it's only the Broncos fans that have picked up on the fact that he is a mere shadow of his 2006 self.

Lastly, we should all be rejoicing that Manly has 6 players in there, because rep payments will start to hurt them cap-wise icon_thumbs_u
