Worst ever Origin forward gets Sharks lifeline

I was talking with a mate from the Gold Coast last night( about Coxys post ) and he put forward the name Darren(Dale or something) Fritz who played some Origin.

He said he was by far and away the worst forward we ever had. I'm not certain about that but don't even remember his contribution !!My friend said...Fritz made 5 metres and s.hit himself for the rest of the time. records show he played 3 times for 1 win and 2 losses....I vaguely recall him playing for Illawarra.....I am pretty sure Coxy was joking but I'm amazed he is highlighting his worst ever judgement call. perhaps a backhanded way of saying..I got it wrong ??

And in other unrelated news, Anna Bligh is the states greatest ever premier, and wrestling the greatest ever sport.

Dale Fritz and he ended up his career in SL.Wouldn't want his Dad to hear you talking about his son that way mate cos he is one hell of a boxer. [icon_wink His brother also played btw.Pretty good to.Central Qld born and bred of course.

I have to admit, the 'fishing' anology was apt. Old Nuts is stilling producing quality football.Thanks heaps Coxy for raising awareness of this great players contribution to league. icon_thumbs_u icon_thumbs_u

In typical style , when all doubt him he steps up to the plate and produces yet another fine game in a long line of quality performances.

It's almost like he's trying to prove Coxy himself wrong.

Ashley Harrison, played great in a losing side, an absolute standout. All the others, couldn't care less for.

Watching Fox last night and heard a comment made referring to Alan Langers opinion of Danny Nutley when he ,Langer ,got the chance to play alongside him in England. Langer has a huge rap and great respect for Nutley....needless to say Langer could know nothing but I'd take his opinion over Coxys anyday.

Whether Coxy likes it or not, there's a fair chance he'll hear Nutleys name a fair bit before seasons end. Maybe there'll be more people for Coxy to be at odds with.
