Yeah I have to admit that I'm enjoying watching Souffs play this year, it's amazing what a team can accomplish with a good coach and gameplan, a couple of x-factor players and a shit load of confidence. The only problem with Souffs is their fans, they are the worst people to ever live on this Earth.

Just to clarify though, I don’t actually support them in anyway or support another team really it’s just a struggle to find some joy in the NRL as a Bronco’s supporter ATM.

Long before the Broncos birth I supported the Sharks which explains my affinity with them. The fact my closest friend was a Sharks junior makes it an even better fit. He played with Ettingshausen back in the day. Wishing another team well when your own falls by the wayside is no great wrong and a team which has not experienced a gf win since 1967 is the ultimate underdog . Although its unlikely, I hope they win the comp.

If Brisbane make the eight (I don't think we will), are we capable of doing anything? When was the last major scalp we claimed? Looking at the run home, I can't see any easy wins tbh. Besides, I've never understood the mentality of scraping into the eight, copping a flogging in week 1, then saying the season was worthwhile as we made the finals.

So the season goes one week longer. Woo Hoo!!!

I, like many others, don't really have a dog in the fight once the Broncos are no longer an option but will still watch the games with interest.

I can't cop the Cowboys as so many of their fans have an extreme hatred for the Broncos which has rubbed me up the wrong way so if they make it they would be my least favourite to win.

I'd probably like the Panthers to win it, i admire the stance they took in making unpopular decisions by getting rid of Lewis/Jennings/Gordon for the greater good of the club and i think their recruitment and turn around of the club has been under the radar so i'd much rather them do well than say a Storm/Dogs/Rabbits.

The Gold Coast is quintessential QLD .......(well maybe it was til recently) but still, the idealism of sun and sand ......night clubs and restaurants, fast cars and dirty women...etc etc etc

It was once a favourite holiday spot for QLD'rs to go to. (again...before all the southern scum came up and ruined it)

anyways, the Gold Coast will always be QLD to me.

I tend to lose total interest once the Broncos are eliminated but I have been pretty disinterested all season knowing at the start of the year that this playing roster would struggle to beat the weakest of sides. Cowboys are my definite #2 but it will also take a miracle for them to make the post season so I am thinking Newc. Hated them during Johns/McDruggall days but have a fondness for them now thanks in part to the Bennett/Gagai influence. They r a definite darkhorse but capable of anything.

Hahaha, hell no! I only envy the success the Broncos have had in their short life.

If anything I have a soft spot for the Raiders as my brother supports them but they will never be my 2nd team. My 2nd team would be all my fantasy NRL players, who I scream for as religiously as I do for the whole Souths team.
