Does anyone else think this match is generally a waste of time?

None of the sides are really picked on form and the match only serves to stroke the Aussies ego.

I expect to see the likes of Morris, Learoyd Lahrs, Shillington, Myles and Kidley to retain their places, albeit none of them deserve to on the back of this years form and guys like Gordon, Tolman, Harrison, Mannah and Cronk to miss out aka. guys who deserve to be there. Inglis, Hodges and Thurston will come in and that's that.

NZ won't be too different although if Hoffman, Foran, Matai, Rapira and Vatuvei are all fit they'll come into the side. Otherwise expect the usual rock solid but genuinly not the best players like Mannering and Bronson to come in.

Ashley Harrison should be the lock in any rep team that he is eligible for.

What ever the case I hope he doesn't get much influence over the selection. One would hope that's what the selectors would do. If we seriously go out with a team like that I expect to lose, it's no longer an easy match against the kiwis.
