Yep, we got smashed in round 1 2006!

You'd seriously be worried if we lost our round 1 game?

haha nah not really. getting a bit over excited yesterday i think

though i really hope we beat the eels so i can hold it over the eels supporting mates i have. and collect the carton of beer they'll owe me for the broncos winning.

cant wait till kickoff.

holy #### I want to beat the Eels so bad. Screw Hayne and screw Sandow. Muppets

All eyes on both teams halves...

I hope Griffin has our attack dialed for this year.

I'm extremely excited for the footy tonight! Cannot wait! :D

If conditions are as bad as they look likely to be I couldn't give a stuff about our attack TBH. A good kicking game and good defense will win us the match IMO.

Yep. It'll be a forward slog with kicking deep early and often. And honestly it's our long kicking game that needs to be worked on post-Lockyer. He was a god in that department. Wallace is average, Norman has a big rap but is unproven in that department at first grade level.

Also concerned about Norman's mentality in a wet, dour forward slog. He doesn't strike me as being tough - mentally or physically.

The good thing about Norman is that he's got a really big boot on him. So, even if he's not kicking into space, he'll at least get a fair bit of distance on it.

Sit in the home bay and sneeze without covering your mouth.

Really really really really looking forward to this game !!

It's going to be a really #### game in the rain I'm afraid

Well he's gotta learn sometime. He should watch Jamie Soward's kicking game from last night and emulate that. Give him plenty of time, a bit of protection and just pound it down there.

And anyway, our attacking game last year was pretty much get inside the 20M and bomb it to Yow Yeh or Reed.

If Gillett could do it in a major semi against Manly, I'm sure that Norman will have no problem following that game plan.

I've said this elsewhere but if there's one thing we're not going to miss that much about Lockyer, it's his long distance kicking game.

Pre-knee injury he was a freak and one of the best in the competition but afterwards he was merely solid in that department. Always had a couple of good kicks in him per game, but a lot of kicks hit the target on the full, which was reflected in the stats.

We'll miss Locky's presence tonight, but if Corey just does his job, plays smart and realise this is step one in a 26+ Round competition I'm sure he'll do OK.

#### YEAH LET'S DO THIS!!! 2012 SEASON IS HERE! Do us proud boys!
