Here are the reasons Broncs will win wooden spoon. Any reasons why they won't?

-Worst spine in the league (2013 Macca, 2013 Barba + no clue who is in the halves)
-Griffin's favourite boys (Gillett and Glenn) are year-on-year trending to have the highest miss tackle counts in the league, for forwards.
-Thaiday, under Griffin, is also trending to top missed tackle count, and gets worse and worse each year at club level.
-Hannant overpaid and over rated.
[Defamatory]
-Centres are banged up and constantly injured.
-White and Gee have no idea how to run a club, nor recruit, and are building a team of fullbacks.

Haha badyon makes me look like I'm on the happy pills, but that's his opinion and this is a forum last I checked.

I don't think we will get the spoon by a long stretch, we will be pushing the 8 and maybe sneak in but we will need a relatively injury free year and will have to start with at least a 75% win rate to negate the origin period.

My belief is we will end up with Barba at 6 and Hoff back at 1 fairly quickly as that is the best available combo, I doubt Griffin will stick with an inexperienced 6 with his career on the line.

We won't get the spoon it's as simple as that. We will be better than last year but that's about it. If things go our way we may scrape into the 8.

I'm assuming the title of this thread was to get a reaction from posters, which you probably will achieve, I just don't see the point.

2013 macca and 2013 barba, what is that even meant to mean? It's 2014 and the issues that were plaguing barba last year aren't there anymore. As for macca he has always had a great combination with hunt (he's the guy you left out, but it probably suited your argument better to say no idea who the halves are) so it won't be '2013 macca'

One shit trial that 90% of our team that played won't feature in our rd 1 17 playing a team featuring a majority of the cowboys rd 1 17 and the sky is falling. Fair dinkum

Reasons Brisbane WON'T win the wooden spoon? I'll give you two.

1. Parramatta
2. Canberra

We won't win the spoon as we will lose the first 6 and Griffin will be sacked by round 7.

Locky would come in and care take and with half a clue, we would claw back into the top 10 with plenty of optimism for 2015.

Sad but true.

You're either a coach or you're not. I don't believe Griffin would have gone out and bought the "Idiots Guide on how to coach a Professional team" book, which means he still won't have a clue on coaching.

are you prepared to put money on the fact that we will lose every one of our first 6 games and Griffin will be sacked before round 7?

Exactly. Being negative and running people down is easy. Would love these guys to put their money where their mouth is

Ok Foordy.

Round 1 Bulldogs - Loss
Round 2 Cowboys - Loss
Round 3 Roosters - Hiding
Round 4 Dragons - Loss (only because its at WIN)
Round 5 Parramatta -Win (Very Lucky Foordy)
Round 6 Gold Coast - 1 point loss.

Mate, very lucky we are playing Parra but even if we only manage 1 win from these 6, its good by Griffin.

If Parra are lucky enough to beat us, then he'll be gone by round 5.

I'd love to be optimistic but our management has done nothing to give me confidence. The best signing this year has been Corvo. The rest weren't even signings, they were outcasts from other clubs. We still have the same muppets steering the ship.

You have very short memories, don't forget who our defensive coach is and was last year too. The honourable Stephen Kearney. Woo Hoo

ok so now you don't think we will lose all of our first 6 games ... so in the space of 10 minutes you have backpedaled of your position.

I think we can win at least 3 of those games ... and i doubt the Roosters will give us a hiding, they only beat us by 8 points last year, and this year we have a stronger, fitter, more creative team

Last year we had two ex origin reps in the halves (as bad as they were) and this year we go in with the worst spine in the comp.

I will refer back to this post if I am correct and can expect you to do the same.

I suppose being cynical I would much prefer to lose 6 straight, sack the coach and salvage a year rather than win 3 from our first 8, remain hopeful all year of sneaking into the 8 only to miss out yet again and endure a season of post match interviews listen to Griffins garbage.

We won't win the spoon because there are other teams in the comp that will perform worse than us over the entire season.

The broncos are not that bad, we are just not that good either and most neutrals probably have us pegged anywhere from 6th to 12th position which I think is a pretty fair estimate based on our current squad, uncertainties in the halves, uncertainty on the coach and form based on last season.

I don't mind a realistic view on where the Broncos stand, we are a very average club atm, but to say we are almost certainties for a spoon is extremely pessimistic.

Damn, we only play Parra, Tigers and Canberra once this year. Maybe we will get the spoon.

I think back to 4-5 years ago when I would look at a draw and see how many times we play Manly and Melbourne as they were always the hard games. Now I look at the draw and almost every game looks hard.

How times have changed!

if your wrong and we are successful at the start of the season, i doubt we will even see you around here ... I get the feeling you'll be another one of the posters to only post when we are travelling poorly

I love this stuff "white and hook have no idea" like they just fluked their way into the positions they're in that the jobs so easy the neighbours cat could do it. Ps get you mum to hide the scissors. You seem a little down:(
