NRL Auckland Nines

Ben Lowe has been shit this whole tournament for us.

How close can you get to scoring 2 bonus zone tries to just miss out in sending it to extra time.

Probably about as close as Johnson did. Oh wait, they counted his second put down.

I think I have it figured out..Whoever scores the try MUST kick for goal..Unless they're off the field. Every time the Warriors score, the try scorer immediately runs off the field to be replaced, since he's off, Johnson can kick.

Lol at that nrl not realizing this rule would be exploited

Cowboys extend their lead with a nice cut-out pass and an in/out from Bowen.

We could be facing off against the Jan Bradys of the NRL.

WTF happened to the Warriors? They still have time to come back, but Warriors are playing like crap.

Full list of injuries from the Nines:

Luke Keary (suspected pectoral)

David Williams (possible ACL)

George Jennings (arm/wrist)

Lachlan Coote (ACL - six months)

Curtis Sironen (fractured foot - six weeks)

Mitchell Moses (shoulder)

Michael Chee-Kam (elbow - six weeks)

Jarrod Mullen (hamstring)

David Taylor (ankle)

David Stagg (knee - 2-6 weeks)

Todd Carney (hamstring)

Ben Barba (ankle)

Kyle Feldt (hamstring)

Isaac Lui (knee)

Dylan Farrell (concussion)

Mitchell Pearce (knee)

I feel for some of the players with serious injuries, apparently Keary was in tears after being told he will spend 3 months (minimum) on the sideline.

All of those star players out injured because of a pre-season comp. I know injuries can happen in the trials, but these coaches are going to argue that the extra games put unnecessary strain on the players bodies before the season. I can definitely see Toovey fuming about it.

I think they need to re-think it. Scrap all trial games and just have a pre-season comp.

I hear keary was upset when he heard that he would be out for so long, but really lost it when he was told "don't worry, you'll be back in time to play for NSW"

Stagg's knees must be made of glass.

I can't help but think that this sort of article is someone pushing a no NRL 9's agenda.
