People let's think what could happen next week. Hoffman could be gone (I'm hoping, guilty) so either Hook does this whole Hodges at 5/8th Barba at fullback (hopefully not) or there is the slight chance we could see one of our young prospects come into the team which would be awesome!

If Hook is the great guy that he appears to be, surely he'll be on the phone to Bennett asking him what he would prefer.

Apart from 20 minutes late in the first half and the last 10 seconds we went punch for punch with the supposed "Premiership Favourites". Despite not being fantastic, I thought Barba had his best game in the Broncos' jersey. He was very good as a link man playing 5/8 and went oh-so-close to scoring right at the end of the first half. When he had to move back to fullback after the unfortunate Hoffman injury he looked sharp.

Hodges had his best 20 minutes of the season at 5/8 and it was great to see him get his hands on the ball so much. He either needs to be the attacking fullback or 5/8 next week.

Is is just me or did Corey Oates grow 50cm during the week? He looked like a monster out there! He is easily going to surpass Gillett this time next year. This bloke is going to be a serious superstar!

Overpowered, out tackled, out played and were tnrashed by a better side it's simple as that. Greg Inglis was just incredible it's really a privilege that we get to watch and enjoy such great players like him. That's it for the year unless we pull of a miracle.

Late night porn session coming up to do away with the frustration

Only took him 5 years or so to reach that level, his career development is coming along well.
Soon he will be able to play 80 a week for a whole season.

The worst hooker Brisbane have ever had.

Are you trying to make people think you are retarded?

We are seriously just a below mediocre football team.

Can't wait until Bennett implements massive changes and fixes this mess. We are a disgrace.

Disagree with the former, agree with the latter.

We're a good team that's poorly coached.

1. Anthony Griffin just looks slow. There was a scene where they showed him in the coaches box with headset on and drinking coke. He looked like he had a touch of the Downs.
2. I was suprised Hoffman was injured. He usually grabs his leg after every second run. Last game in broncos jersey hopefully. We have seen what he can do. There's no upside there. Is the same player that got beat out by Corey freaking Norman for the fullback spot on three occasions.
3. Too many nuffies in the backline. I like Vidot but he is always going to make those mistakes. Maranta is just terrible. Offers nothing. Any time he plays a game where he catches the majority of the cross field kicks sent his way this forum has me believe that I'm supposed to stand up from my couch and say "Wow, Maranta is awesome." It's his fucking job. And he can't do it on a regular basis.
4. Jack Reed? I don't even want to start
5. I still don't see what this forum sees in Mcguire. Yes, he is a good solid prop. But where's the impact? He's our #1 prop and gets dominated. I'm sure some poster will come in and tell me his stats from last night but I don't care. Best year he had was 2011 off the bench. Not a starter.
6. Thaiday fat
7. Hannant fat
8. We might as well send Gillett back to QLD Cup after Origin 3. Is cooked every friggin year.
9. Am I missing someone? probably. I'm sure Granville would have made a difference. He's the greatest player that never got a shot at the big time supposedly. How is Baptiste going these days?

I still have a place for Hoffman at the Broncos in 2015 ... as long as he is happy to play wing. he is a really good winger

Was it any surprise that our attack actually threatened when Hoffman went off and hodges was at fullback in attack. For all Hoffmans good work in defence, he is still has no idea on attack. This game showed tonight why we sacked Griffen and put Bennett in charge for next year. We were playing for a season tonight and dished up that rubbish

As I said. He's the same player who couldn't fend off Corey Norman from his spot for 4 years.

He's a professional athlete who doesn't try and improve his game.

which is why I wont bat an eyelid if he leaves next year
people are saying boyd is worse, atleast boyd knows how to throw a pass in a backline move and not just dummy and go yourself.

Hodges ambling along playing touch footy from dummy half and throwing faceball cut out passes to the winger would be shutdown or worked out by most umbrella defences who weren't up by 40 points.

Looks flashy, because he finds the winger in apparent space, but it was well covered.

It bemuses me that people think that Boyd and Hoffman are the same type of players: I've seen Boyd throw some magical passes in a sweeping movement this year, even in his so called "rough" patch. I still think our best spine for next season is 1. Milf, 6. Barba, 7. Hunt. If Milf can develop into as good a 5/8 as he is a FB, then I wouldn't be against getting Boyd back at FB, but the signs aren't there for him (Milf) just yet.
