Just give Macca some peptides so the injury heals in 3 weeks instead of 6 which is conveniently the length of the ban you get for using peptides. There problem solved.

If we're going to start someone in place of McGuire and move Josh to Hooker for the initial 30 minutes, it should be Ofahengaue. He's shown over the last few weeks he can handle big minutes, Wallace isn't fit enough to play long minutes, neither is Thaiday (Not effectively, anyway) - Wallace & Thaiday should be specialist bench props this season.

Plus he's going to have to play longer minutes in a couple of weeks anyway... Better to get him used to it with origin reps around him.

Maybe this guy could be the solution. I don't know what he is doing these days though

The only thing he is the solution to is the question "who is one of the worst players to play for the Broncos".

If Macca was running at training today ... is there any chance he will be back for Saturdays game against the Sea Eagles?

It's pretty unrealistic to expect him back this week.. He tore his hamstring 2 and a half weeks ago, it's a 5-6 week injury.. I don't care how good our medical staff is, that's just plain stupid.

just wishful thinking on my part ... hoping that the injury wasn't as bad as was reported

No, it was heavily strapped and he wasn't running at 100% be pushing 50%.

He shouldn't rush
he is more important to us later in the year than to rush back and re injure himself again
