Is RLL3 any good?

Its a good solid Rugby League game. But if you walk into expecting FIFA or NBA then don't bother. They don't have the budget for them games. Its got its flaws but its a rugby league game so I buy them

Is there a rule where if you bring in a reserve player after naming your team that they have to play the same position as the removed player? It would be a dumb rule.


Bringing Pearson on to the bench doesn't make sense either though.

I don't think so.

Judging from comments today, his inclusion is purely for injury cover to the backs.

With Mead and Boyd covering multiple positions it does give us options, but I'm not sold on it. Would have preferred another forward but we'll see how it pans out.

I reckon we'll go four forwards on the bench with Pearson dropping out and Fai in or Oates will go to the bench with Pearson starting. Either way, I highly doubt Pearson starts the game on the bench if he plays at all.

The only thing that I could see in that article was that Bennett said Pearson will play wing. Did I miss something?

As last week demonstrated, having a back on the bench can be invaluable with Mead denying the Titans at the death.

I'm surprised more coaches haven't adopted that tactic. I remember a Panthers/Souths game recently where Souths really needed to hook Burns but had to keep him on because they had nobody on the bench to replace him with.

He said Jonus Pearson is there for cover in the backs because of the concussion rule and injuries. He pointed out it was a problem last year when we would lose a back to concussion and they couldn't come back on for 15 minutes and we didn't have a replacement.

He said the forwards are match fit and they can all play big minutes, so that's why he isn't picking a forward.

Probably because he rates Pearson as the better player. besides with Boyd and Mead in the team all back line positions are covered anyway
