Do you remember that last encounter in 2003?

I remember it. I still haven't forgiven Ikin.

He had been throwing those passes all game, and Girdler was waiting for him to throw another. With the breeze at their back, it gave the Panthers all the momentum they needed to win the game.

I agree, it was at least an 18 point breeze and an 8 point lead at HT was never going to be enough. The Broncos blew a lot of chances in that one though.

Refresh my memory, was the telecast of the 03 final delayed? I remember listening to the radio broadcast for whatever reason and then never got around to watching the game.

It was delayed on Ch 9 as was the norm on Sundays. I also listened to it on the ABC.

People would argue we're due a loss.

We have won our previous 6 finals game at home, our previous loss being in 2008.

We also have a good recent record beating teams at home twice, the last time we didn't achieve that was in 2009 when we lost to the Dragons in Round 4 but beat them in the final.

In 2011, we beat both the Warriors and Dragons at home during the regular season and then beat them again at home in the finals. In 2015, we beat both the Cowboys and Roosters at home during the regular season and then beat them again at home in the finals.

However, we have never won a finals game against Panthers. We have played them twice and lost both.

Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. Forfty percent of all people know that.

How did we cope back then Accept?

There was a certain charm to listening on the radio. As Sydney-centric as the call could be, I didn't mind Morrow or Ryan's call on the game. They had a measured insight into the game, sometimes I feel 9 are trying too hard to be entertaining.

Please just let whoever is named in their position play out the match.

This chopping and changing is killing our cohesion.

67% of statistics are made up, and the other 45% are wrong.

I've had a strong feeling all day. We will win this game comfortably, then go on to beat Melbourne in the Grand Final, 7-6.
