There has been lists of the Broncos best 13, but I don't ever recall a list of the Broncos worst ever 13.

The inspiration for this thread came from reading a Broncos worst ever XIII article on zerotackle and this is the list below.

Note: It's not my worst ever side. Some of these I don't agree with.

1. Ben Barba
2. Scott Minto
3. Nick Emmett
4. James Roberts
5. Dale Shearer
6. Aaron Gorell
7. Ben Hunt
8. Joel Clinton
9. Richard Swain
10. Sam Backo
11. Ashton Sims
12. Martin Kennedy
13. Todd Lowrie.

What's your worst ever?

Ben Hunt and James Roberts? What a gee up.

And if anyone mentions Lachlan 'hand of God' Maranta, I'll delete my account.

Roberts and Hunt in that list is a straight troll

This was created prior to 2017.

As for halfback, it's a short list of halfbacks when it comes to regulars in the role. None of the others had made the biggest blunder on the NRL's biggest stage and after two good seasons, Hunt never recovered and found his lost mojo.

A case could be made for Seymour and Wallace being better in the role when it comes to what a halfback's role is. Perry was nothing more than a stop gap but it really should go to him.

No Stu Kelly?

Sam Backo was good for us. As was Sims (mostly). Minto wasn’t that bad.

Maranta? Where is he.

Andrew Lomu?

Brett Galea? (Or was it Ben?)

I’d prefer a worst game day 13/17. Barely anyone in that team even played together. You could name worse players in every single position if you’re going off every player in Broncos history

Dale Shearer, Sam Backo, and Ben Hunt all played for Qld and Aus while playing for the Broncos.

This. There will be some shockers during Origin periods.

As for the OP, if we're going to make up our own list, we need some qualifiers. Say, minimum 15 games for the Broncos in a single season, or 50 games for the Broncos total? That'll include one-season-let-downs like Kennedy as well as long-term stinkers like Scott Anderson?

Ben Hunt really should have the C next to his name.

Also wouldn't really call Moga a scapegoat.

Needs more Michaels... I think BHQ may have been the reason he left the country

Reece Robinson is up there too. He was so shit for us, driven back 10m every time he got tackled.
