They were the hardest kicks for right footer. Can’t blame Isaako. But based on what I saw Storm would have rolled us anyway. Broncs didn’t have the mental toughness, gas, confidence or coordinator to close this kind of game out at this point.

No I'm not blaming the kicker.....sideline kicks are what they are. He hit the upright with his first.

Was merely pointing out that our performance wasn't all doom and gloom like some posters were making it out to be.

How good was Darius' run where he ran 25m sideways and then realised he was about to run out so throws the ball over his shoulder to the storm when we were attacking their line on 3rd tackle... Or the one where straight out of a scrum he knocks on. Or all those times where he wasn't within the camera shot when the storm did a kick. Or how he didn't run a single time when behind the line. Not once. He walked / slight jogged everytime. Bloke is complete mud and should retire.

You can’t really blame Boyd for that sideways run, it happened all night with Milford as well. Wtf was Oates doing, Boyd called for him to come inside.

I didn't once see milford run 25m side ways and then almost out... Boyd is a complete waste of space. Ruins our attack and a huge liability in defence. Would currently be the worst starting fullback in the comp and he is on $750k a season until the end of 2021. FML

If you guys think this season is bad, don't get your hopes up anytime soon because we are stuck with most of the players (in core positions) until at least 2020.

Plenty of other things to criticise Boyd about rather than that instance. It was all on Oates and his lack of awareness.

Signing Bird on good money and not spending that same money on a halfback instead was crazy by Wayne.

Honestly they should have found the money to re-sign Hunt. Milford-Hunt got us to a GF and prelim.

Losing faith in Wayne.

I'm still livid that nothing was said about Nelson A's forearm to the throat of Glenn. Burgess just got back from a two week layoff for exactly the same thing. Fucking disgrace.

Another tough game to lose. We really could have won that game but for silly errors and switching off at times. All in all a good effort but still that little bit short which is frustrating.
As for that try, what a complete crock of shit.
Wraps to Ado Carr, so good to watch him live, still think Roberts could get him.

I'd like to see Bird play lock....before completely writing him off. Move Moose back into the front row.

How is Bird in this position weight-wise? A pro looks after himself when he is injured ... Just was so unprofessional. Even more so when he is on such a large contract.

Milf-Hunt combo got us to a GF, and hunt lost it for us. That combo, especially the latter went on to produce absolute bullshit which lead to him being dropped and celebrations when he signed elsewhere.

Revisionist history annoys the **** out of me.

McGuire was our best player.

Offer and TJP at least are starting to show some mongrel, young blokes with huge futures.
McGuire is simply grubby, laughed when he did a hit up from dummy half on the 4th, I was waiting for it but I thought surely not LOL.
Can almost cop that loss because they had a go.

Going forward, if a player drops the ball cold, kicks it, regathers, is it play on?

Yes he is a bit overweight but you do realise he is also wearing protective padding right?

Despite the scoreline, I think we're slowly improving. That match could have been won for sure, but we really let ourselves down at times.

The biggest concern for me at the moment isn't our defence, but rather our complete lack of direction in attack. To me, it seems there is absolutely no plan, and everything is off the cuff. We look totally disjointed whenever we're in the opposition's half. Compare that with the Storm, where basically every play is done methodically and leads into the next one, and it makes for frustrating viewing.

Yes. The combination did struggle at times last season. But it was still turned around to make a prelim.

Honestly, there were plenty of people on here who knew Nikorima at 7 was never going to work and we'd been completely short there. But equally there were people on here who blindly believed it was going to work. It was never going to work.

Nikorima is a brilliant runner of the football but blind Freddy could see he is not an organiser of attack. Just not his skillset.

Mitchell Pearce was available, Trent Hodkinson was available. Wayne has totally botched things. If it was Griffin who got us in this mess people would be pegging stones and mocking him.

To be fair the Knik/Milf combo won something like 7 from 7 when Hunt was out so it was hardly blind belief.

I was a sceptical fence sitter hoping it would continue but I could see why some fans were on board.
