2019 Broncos Line-up

Him re-signing with us points to him being a good shot at a starting spot. But from what I've heard others say, he's much more comfortable on the right. Which puts him in direct competition with Gillett & Fifita. I wouldn't be moving Gillett simply out of defensive concerns on that right edge, he's the best in the comp, let alone the club. So I suspect Fifita and Sua will be fighting it out once he retires.

I thought he plays left side?

Left side, strong side!

Fifita was running rampant down that side last year. He might force his way into the starting side. Then there is Gillett, we literally have too many options. That's a great feeling :)

I seem to recall Fifita playing almost exclusively on the right last season, no? After Gillett & Su'A got injured I think he was permanently on the right, and prior to that he was just playing a few random minutes off the bench in the middle I think.

Yep, Fifita has always been a right side player.

So Cody Walker has said in an interview that he came very close to signing with the Broncos for the 2017 season. He flew up here to meet with Wayne and Nolan and was about to sign but then Souths came back with an extra year and he turned us down due to having more stability at Souths with the longer contract.

I usually do refer to it as the right hand side. But I notice a lot of people refer to it as left for some reason. When Super Freak mentioned left hand side that's what I thought he meant. It confuses me sometimes. Thanks for clearing it up.

The point I was trying to make was that we have a plethora of options on the right hand side in particular. Someone might have to make the switch to the left. Unless Seibold decides to play panga jnr in the second row, down the left hand side.

I rate him, definitely more so than Adam Reynolds, just definitely not what we needed.

I think Adam Reynolds started off wonderfully and just stagnated for a few seasons. I remember him when he first broke through and he showed a lot of promise. Not sure if WB can do anything but he might the type of coach he needs. although saying that WB never had much luck with halves.
I hope Seibold has better luck here. Knik finished the season wonderfully and it might just his time to break through, with a new direction in coaching and some self-confidence. There are plenty of options, either way though, which is a pleasant thought.
If I was the broncos, the players i would be worried about nailing down are those young up and coming halves. WB could do worse than lure 1 or 2 of them away. Him and most of the other coaches down there.

Wayne Bennett will be frothing about having a JSow clone... he'll be looking to dust off the 2010 playbook

I do think Reynolds would compliment Milf perfectly. Sadly, he is pretty brittle.

Alfie Langer, Wally Lewis, Kev Walters, Darren Lockyer, Jamie Soward

Some that come to mind

What's the word on Andre Savellio ? Is he still in Aus, at the Bronco's, training, over his injury?
