Can we talk about Kahu? Why did we let him go? He’s 10 times the player Shibasaki is.
Ahhh no Kahu looks like an arthritic old man running around for the cows at the moment.

He's offering zero in attack... I'm not sure I've seen a more ineffective fullback to be honest.... and yes I'm including Boyd in that

The fullback has never been this important, and we are probably one of the teams that has the least support run, Boyd is the worst, but apparently other backs don’t contribute much either
Problem with Boyd is that he looks like he can’t even chase down the Home Ice-Cream trucks with his speed. I swear I’ve seen U16 with more pace and yet he’s supposed to be spine player?

I’ll tell you what, we’ve looked absolutely rubbish and directionless without Dearden. That’s a silver lining I guess: that an 18 year old half has such an influence on our side.

Nah, it's the other half back that's missing.
Remember the guy that carries the water, bald and in a blue shirt...neck surgery has the legend out till we face the Knights.

Kahu over Issako would be a massive upgrade the way Issako is playing.

I wouldn't want him as fullback, but surely his play in the centres is better than Shibas. And that's saying a lot.

Kahu's defence and offence in the centers was horrendous last year. Go and take a look at comments after rd 1 against the drags when prior to that everyone thought he'd be the saviour for our backline.

His only usefulness at the moment is taking high balls and that's because Isaako and Oates are 50/50 on every bomb... maybe even less

I thought Shiba went pretty well last night.. he put Isaako away twice, one leading to Gillett's try and almost had his own with a surprising turn of pace (something Kahu has zero of) only a last ditch ankle tap from Gutho stopped him

There was something off about that right side defence last night... several times SOS and Isaako ended up in front of Shiba. It may have been the new combination or a lack of communication I'm not sure, but having the defensive line doing 2 different things will always spell disaster and goes against what Shiba has shown thus far.

I just think overall their is a huge lacking of intensity in the team, which has basically been present since 2016. Turpin was the only one with line speed and getting over the advantage line but no one wanted to go with him.

You can tell pretty early in a game whether we're going to get the shit Broncos or the good Broncos, which is not good enough. Total lack of heart in this team and it pisses me off... no point taking pot shots at 1 or 2 players when it's the whole fucking squad not putting in.

Even Fifi has failed to step up when he's been given the starting second row spot the last 2 weeks... it was his opportunity to jump the pack and claim the starting spot, but apparently Fifi's only goal this year was making origin

Just on Fifita, I'd love to see him play like an actual backrower and not a middle battering ram. I don't think I've seen him yet this year run off one of the halves out wide in some space. All his hit ups are just that....... hit ups into the teeth of the defence.

I'm starting to think we need to change our recruiting guys.
yes they have spotted talent but what they have not spotted are winners.
The thing the Storm do so well is recruit the right personality first. talent second.
We should be poaching the Storms scouts because the talented powder puffs we have don't hate losing enough.

It was the same shit under Bennett. The coach isn't the problem here. It's the playing group.
Cop out. We were never this bad under Bennett.

Seibold has serious questions over his ability right now and he's not doing much to answer them.

We have 100% went backwards at an alarming rate since Seibold took over. Seibold has won 7 of his last 20 games as a head coach.

It's not the playing group, it's the coaching. Seibold moved Kahu and McGuire on in a hurry, then sacked Roberts, moved on Niko, it was his call to sack all these experienced players and leave us with no depth and low on experience.

He better hope to turn this the **** around. When he takes over from the best coach we've ever had, he better fucking actually deliver. He took the huge money 5 year deal, he best not screw over the fans in the process.

I'm happy to give him until next year but I would want to hear some recruitment news soon. The only signing he's made has been... Kennar? He's let go of a bunch of players without signing anyone. He better have a plan. I hope so anyway.

The Broncos have a few issues and they are major issues for a club. They are now blatantly obvious.

1. Our team has no leader. Anywhere on the park in fact. Lodge does his job but he is not inspiring or challenging anybody. Say what you will about Moose but if anybody dog shotted one of our boys like last night he would have been right in there. Boyd lives in a fantasy land, he is actually fucking kidding himself. Macca looks to be spitting the dummy and from what i have seen believes he is above this team. He hasn't a clue. Glenn didn't play but he is just one of the lads.

2. We have zero strike anywhere on the field. Roberts was it. It showed last year also so this is nothing new. Our fullback is cactus, we have one winger who is a danger and one centre at the moment who is up to playing grade footy. Milf i think is being harshly criticized but he is again playing with his third halfback in a season. Our spine is a mess.

3. Attitude. This all stems from leadership and i include Siebs here. In teams like the storm, Rabbitohs and Rorters there are players that can call others out on poor work without having the finger pointed back at them. If Boyd challenges anybody you think they are taking it on board or walking off and bitching him out later. I can't name a single player that through action or otherwise commands respect.

4. That missing ingredient. This one is easy to fix. We have it sitting there. We got it a few weeks ago and that is Seggy. He brings enthusiasm he actually gelled the team by just being part of it.
It makes me wonder if some of these guys don't get on, if there is a fractured group. I don't know anything inside the club but once a player returns and attitudes change i notice it. Does anyone know what type of bloke Macca is?

One more big loss (prob against Newcastle) surely spells the end of Darius.
It’d be very tough for Seibs and I understand that, however his position may well be on the line if he doesn’t start to pull the big decisions. If we are in a similar position this time next year, I think seibs is done.
He won’t be judged too much on this season as it’s an inherited squad, however if we do not improve or are unable to recruit a big name to the club, then I think seibs will be under extreme pressure come this time next year.
I was/am all for seibs, however he really now needs to show us why we believe he is our man moving forward for the next 5yrs. Time to pull the trigger on some big names, Boyd, macca, isaako. This season is done, so I can’t see why we wouldn’t start making these transitions if we don’t drastically improve in the next couple of weeks.
Milford too also has to be put on notice.
