Remember he is playing out of position.
Considering that he was ok.

Yeah I’ve said before that it’s not his fault he’s playing out of position. He wasn’t good though. That try was fortuitous. That 40/20 must have been his only good kick because the rest were awful.

Turpin was about what I've come to expect - some good, a little great, some bad. He'll get better when he's playing in his actual position, and has more support around him.

I can't believe he bombed that grubber try though. How many times have we failed to ground a loose ball in the in-goal this year? So many points gone begging. It seems to happen with disturbing regularity, and it is just another symptom of our overall poor handling. I can't fathom what is wrong with this team, particularly with the emphasis there seemed to be on handling in the preseason. It seems the soap thing was a bad idea, maybe? Let's not do that again, Seibs.

Yeah Drinkwater felt sorry for him and let him through. The 40/20 was the wingers fault, he let it bounce through. No other good kicks too, the bomb that GGM dropped was not that flash by Turpin but the winger decided to drop it anyway. The Langer like grubber for that knock on over the line was so fortuitous as well. What a posser that Turpin guy is, no right to be in the side.

I think we should just try this (Assuming O'Sullivan, Dearden & Gillett are unavailable)

1. Isaako
2. Oates
3. Boyd
4. Staggs
5. Farnworth
6. Milford
7. Turpin
8. Lodge
9. McCullough
10. Haas
11. Glenn
12. Fifita
13. Pangai Jr

14. Segeyaro
15. Ofahengaue
16. Flegler
17. Carrigan

It should solve a couple of the immediate issues, move Boyd further away from the middle of the field, the less responsibility he has the better off we'll be.

Move Milford back to his best position, force him to touch the ball 3-4 times per set.

Give Isaako a crack at Fullback, he's closer to the modern day Fullback than Milford, runs back hard, has good size, is good under the high ball. He also showed some pretty nice skill last night in being able to hit Milford on the chest at full speed as well.

Moving Fifita to the right edge is something we should be doing as well, everything I saw of him at Keebra Park he was on the right edge, I think it's his preferred position, and probably his best one.

Everything else is pretty straight forward.

Is there another Isaako we don't know about? You can't be talking about Jamayne.

For those asking why our forwards are dominating so what’s wrong with our backs, or this asking why we aren’t capitalising on points the answer is obvious. We have no halves.

right now either way Milfs workload is huge...if he goes back into 5/8th then he is a target in the defensive line....

stays at fullback he is playing 2 positions.....so either way he will sleep well the following day..!

Choose your poison

He's made 2 errors in his last 560 minutes of footy. He was also safe last year, despite attacking the ball like an absolute lunatic every time it was coming towards him.

Also, generally speaking there's more pressure on wingers to catch bombs than there is pressure on fullbacks, I'm extremely confident that him under the high ball won't be a problem.

TPJ might be in trouble for this, as well as the knee to the head.

Going by the rule book, that's a shoulder charge.

You might be right.
On another note the sticky avatar has began to wear thin. It was funny at the time now it just reminds me of the whinging little prick that stole Alf's kangaroo spot, any chance of considering a change....please.

thats a still shot ... what was his left arm doing?

It doesn't matter. You have to wrap both arms/hands around now. His left arm wasn't wrapped around anyway.

Guess we will find out soon enough if he is charged for that, but I don't think he will be playing in this game anyway. There were two incidents last night that he could get charged for.

After hearing Corey Parker’s commentary last night I wonder if he’ll be down at training this week to give the boys a rev up

He made 20 tackles, kicked a 40/20, scored an individual try that won the game and almost another that looked like pure Alfie. He wasn't "shit."

That one handed pick up and simultaneous step was pure class. A massively clutch play by Turps.

The 'Hand of God' some might say.
