This is a new low for The Courier Mail, and that is really saying something.

Even though the meet up was for compassionate reasons, you’re still not allowed to be sitting in a park having lunch. Not yet.

They broke the restrictions. They need to be punished like everyone else.

Have you been outside lately mate? It’s business as usual. Open the curtains or something at least.

Meyn in the CM is reporting that they’re unlikely to be sanctioned based on things changing tomorrow and the mental health angle but they should cop something, you would think.

It really is nothing like business as usual. Kids aren’t at school, I’m still teaching remotely, the police can still pick you up if you’re 50kms or more from home, many businesses have folded, many people are broke. Not sure what you are on about.
You’ll be back at work within 6 weeks mate. 👌🏼

NRLQ solution, suspend Haas and Fifita for the season, that will teach Boyd and Bird!

It's minor, and its for a good reason but rules are rules and they both need fining.
Agreed I got no problem with appropriate punishment matching the offence, if they had done something at the levels of Mitchell, Addo-Carr and Cleary then they would deserve far worse and I'd be all for it because at the end of the day it's all about consistency, something the NRL needs to work desperately on.

To be honest, like 50% of the drivers right now drive between 10-20Ks over the limit, and not even just on the motorways lol.
It's not the worst of offences but talk about giving the media ammunition at the worst time.

Yeah, they must be salivating getting juicy info like that, when the rest of the article is full of gold such as

SPOTTED II

The great Gus Gould getting a haircut and visiting his local post office in the Shire on Tuesday.

SPOTTED III

Sky Sports race caller and Married At First Sight villain Anthony Manton walking his dog in Moore Park.

this.

I don’t know what my life would be like if I didn’t know what Gus Gould and some random person from MAFS were up to in their daily lives.

Now I can sleep at night knowing what they have been up to.

I honestly struggle to wrap my head around how someone really went off and spent four years at Uni studying journalism, incurred probably $30-40K in tuition costs and busted their ass and no doubt made some massive sacrifices to get good grades, to then spend your career hiding out in your car photographing football players eating lunch in a park, or letting the public know that Phil Gould has had his hair cut and that he also uses the services of Australia Post.

With the way the industry has plummeted to click bait, you'd think it's a TAFE course nowadays.
