Yes we are. But put that in perspective. Over a third of the Roosters key players have been together since 2013, same coach for those 7 years, and most of the current squad has been coached, and bloody well coached in attack and defence, for over 3 years. Their players are also mostly top quality. No wonder they are like a well oiled machine. They have had plenty of practice. Makes a big difference when compared to where we are, who we are and with a coach with 12 months at the helm, not 7 fucking years with a settled quality squad.

One things for certain is that Queensland rugby league is in a really bad place right now and the NRL should be worried about this.

Why would they be worried? They are finally getting what they have tried so hard to achieve.

They need to balance it, they want QLD clubs to keep drawing viewers and crowds, but then still really only make up the numbers, having no more than 1 or 2 QLD teams in the top 8.

Because so many qld people normally tune in to the coverage and attend the games before covid. But if the broncos and cowboys both constantly suck for a long period of time, people will lose interest which means less money.
