Finally its over! A fair offer was made to Dave and the club stood by it. We now move on with cap flexibility for next year. Good can come from this if we are smart with that money.

I'm genuinely going through the seven stages of grief

The titans tweet made me sick to my stomach. Ah well, we can work our way out of this with the money we have coming up I suppose. Give Haas a top up to keep him happy and go hard at guns in ‘22 when the trash is finally out of the club.

Its' really not the worst news in the world. Fifita would have been solid value at 700-800k, but to expect the Broncos to match 1M+ for him would truly make us a basketcase club.

We are missing a genuine 5/8th and fullback and this should be addressed before anything.

The broncos need to learn how to use their backrowers first and foremost. When was the last time we put on a play that put over a backrower for a try? All the elite teams have these plays.

It’s time to let Oates develop into a full blown back rower because he can be just as destructive as Fifita.

Oates isn’t in the same class as Fifita but I agree with the sentiment of learning to use backrowers better.

This signing is a huge blow for the club, make no mistake. Yes it was ridiculous money but these kids reportedly had a pact to win a premiership together and take under a if need be. One of the two absolute best has just walked. What makes others now want to stay for less? It sure isn’t a good coach or pride in the jersey.

You can only laugh. We spent the last 5 years worrying about keeping our 'bright young juniors', and when it comes to keeping the brightest prospect we've ever had we can't find the cap space for it. Massive shout out to Wayne, Seibold and White for signing some of the most overs contracts in the NRL and making it impossible. Really glad we paid Ofahengaue $600K a season to be a bench plodder that makes zero impact. Fucking disgustingly run organisation. Bring on the second Brisbane team, I'm over it.
Nothing you can or should do when rivals come in with ridiculous offers.

And i would argue Haas is our brightest prospect

If we don't get the spoon this year, we will next year.

The Broncos are fucked.

Can we get Bullemor back and play him instead for the rest of the year?
He hasn't gone anywhere yet. He was named in our squad for yesterdays game

So glad we spent so much money, time and energy on this bloke, bailed him out of Bali, gave him a holiday this season and rehabbed him when surgery could have been left until the offseason.
Hope the club release him first thing Monday morning and he never dons this jersey again.

This is 100% on the board, CEO and coach of this club.
We have all known his talent and should have been locked up long term LAST YEAR or even in 2018.
I don’t buy the management disagreement BS as a reason we didn’t sign him, we should have locked him up well before that was an issue.
Instead we have spent all our money on the likes of Milford, Boyd, Bird, Lodge, Offa etc. and only now (on our upcoming best player) We decide we aren’t going to pay overs for anyone.

What a massive disappointment and shame this club has turned into.
Stop over reacting ... you're starting to sound like a fool
