To save his integrity i think his best option would be to walk out the door. Problem is with Kevvie his heart will rule his head seeing as he has just landed his dream job and he wont do it. Its probably a bit unrealistic to think you will get all the staff you ask for, but i believe if you want to back the coach he would need about 75% of his own staff. He is on a hiding to nothing now imo.
