Didn't he come from the Storm?I'm with you mate. I think Kennedy is the sort of player Melbourne would turn into a hard as rock forward that could potentially play Origin. He needs more of a go for me. Only had limited opportunities but goes well.

Siebold brought him with him from Souths. Not sure if he was in Melbourne before that though.Didn't he come from the Storm?
Was in their under 20's , seibold connection goes way back.Siebold brought him with him from Souths. Not sure if he was in Melbourne before that though.
The issue is they're already making these expensive commitments to players before he's even had a chance to have his say. It's going to be difficult to sort out the roster when the club is continuing to run the exact same methods that got them into this situation.I think it is pretty clear that they aren’t making any big signings until DD is here, is the Storm imposed waiting period for DD’s start date Kevvie’s fault too?

I don't expect Donaghy to make an immediate impact at the club either. I don't think he's going to come in and sack everyone and bring in the best staff right away. I don't think we'll see his impact until 2023, if ever.
Flegler $650,000 for 2 years, Piakura $400,000 for 3 years and Staggs is being offered a four year deal worth $700,000 which appears to be settled. What are these commitments ?
Piakura is $350 for 1 & 2 then $400 for 3 I'm sure. Staggs isn't even signed yet and flegler was last year, seems like you have a bee in your bonnet about something or someone.Flegler $650,000 for 2 years, Piakura $400,000 for 3 years and Staggs is being offered a four year deal worth $700,000 which appears to be settled.
Flegler happened before Kevvie arrived, Piakura is potential but not that big investment and Staggs is being used as filler for Badel with nothing even close to being confirmed yet.Flegler $650,000 for 2 years, Piakura $400,000 for 3 years and Staggs is being offered a four year deal worth $700,000 which appears to be settled.
Flegler re-signed in November, he was one of Kev's first signings.Flegler happened before Kevvie arrived, Piakura is potential but not that big investment and Staggs is being used as filler for Badel with nothing even close to being confirmed yet.
Did he? I thought it was before that, my bad if that’s the case.Flegler re-signed in November, he was one of Kev's first signings.
That's a lot of money already tied up and we don't know how much was spent to retain Riki either.
If you believe that amount is legitFlegler re-signed in November, he was one of Kev's first signings.

Prop forward Thomas Flegler has committed to the Brisbane Broncos for another two seasons.www.broncos.com.au
Considering the club constantly keeps crying poor I'm prepared to believe a lot of these young players are being paid overs.

How many have openly said they can't announce a signing because they're over the cap? The Broncos have been open about the state of their salary cap, I don't think the journos are far off the mark at all.every club cries poor ... but always seem to have the money when the right signings become available.
I can't recall a single club (even ones that go on spending spree's) openly admitting to having a war chest. they all cry poor

Smokin Joe has stated otherwise, think I'll roll with his word rather than badel. How many have openly said they can't announce a signing because they're over the cap? The Broncos have been open about the state of their salary cap, I don't think the journos are far off the mark at all.
According to the article that's if they release the 13 players and other clubs are willing to pay the full freight which is highly unlikely. They have some money but if they continue down the track they're going they won't have enough to bring in the changes that need to be made.if you believe the journos ... then you have to believe that we have $3 million to spend for next year. because Badel has literally just said that in an article. hardly sounds like we have cap issues if that's the case
