While TPJ's talent was always there to see ... getting rid of his brain explosions seemed impossible.

@Wolfie made a good point comparing his debut to Jake Turpin's second coming, where it wasn't so much that Turpin was good, he just had what we've been lacking. And in both cases, what they brought was boundless energy and a step forward in direction. Turpin showed us why Macca was holding the team back. Gamble showed us what Dearden lacked. I wasn't surprised in Turpin's case, I'd been calling for Macca's head for years. But as a Dearden fan, I was humbled to see how wrong I was.

So that's where we are now. But like Turpin, we can't expect Gamble to keep delivering at that high energy level week after week to keep his place.

Surprise surprise the Tripple m Sunday team didn't talk about our game at all. These scumbags hammered Kev during the week and couldn't even make a mention of the fact we had the biggest comeback in our clubs history on Friday. They can only bare to talk about us when they can sink the boot in or try and convince players we don't have it anymore.

Seriously? I kind of expect it from 360 because, everything else aside, they only have an hour to cram the weekends results, what's coming etc in. Tripple M Sunday are on air for hours though, right? I could understand not talking about us making the Panthers work for it but regardless of the club, what they did on Friday night was a milestone...it deserved to be talked about. Poor form. Was Kev a part of that team at one stage? Could have sworn he was

Not sure if Kev was on there to be honest. But even Fox rap talked about us for less then a minute, the whole focus was on the Titans. The Tigers have a win and they actually talked about it. I just mentioned on another thread that we should expect that from the media. If I remember right it took months for them to acknowledge we were playing good footy in 2015. The media hate us, they know what this club can do if it gets things in order and has some stability. They are sowing doubt and shade into everything they can, in the hope that Reynolds, Coates, Staggs or any player for that matter doesn't feel comfortable coming here.

Yep, everything is skewed negatively about us, you only have to look at how the Sydney media talked about Bennett while he was at the broncos and then how they talk about him now. The same thing happened when he first left to the dragons, it’s like they flick a switch. Even Seibold was treated like his shit didn’t stink right up until the moment he signed with us.

I hope Kevvie still gave the side a spray for that start. Down 22-0 in less than 20 minutes.

I also hope he gave Isaako a spray. A couple of those tries could have been avoided if he wasn't out of position. Titans were looking for him in the defensive line and once they spotted him out of position, they put the grubber through and it kept paying off.

The other tries could have been avoided if they just made a fucking tackle, as well. Fogarty never should have been allowed to get in a position to put that kick in for Thompson.

Except for the try where they ran through the middle of the ruck you can't really do much about it, Isaako was probably out of position but it's clear Kevvie has told him the fullback spot is his on the basis that he continues to improve and there's no doubt he will be working hard on his positioning.

Gold Coast had literally every single thing go right for them early on and they're one of those teams that when it sticks they can rack up a score, I can't even tell you how many bullshit tries they've scored against us in recent times. It shits me to tears the number of tries Anthony fuckin' Don has scored against us.

The Titans are in big trouble by the way, this is supposed to be their big year. They've bought big, got million dollar players all over the place, barely developed a player in that squad.. and they're getting hosed up on a week to week basis
