A real fizzer of a game.

The Blues didn't have to work too hard for most of their tries. The opening two came off a strip from Latrell on Feldt who was well and truly exposed and the other was the intercept from Holmes who found himself in that position due to injuries. Even the last try they scored was Tedesco taking a scoot from a suspect play the ball and Hunt didn't work hard enough from marker.

Really the only try they had to work for was the Trbojevic try which was great work from Cameron Murray.

Otherwise it seemed like the Blues shut up shop and just focused on keeping the Maroons to nil. Not that they had to work that hard, Queensland just lacked any sort of spark all evening and the decision to play Fifita off the bench backfired big time. I thought they started with plenty of gusto the Maroons, flouting the 10m rule like all good teams do these days but once Mitchell took the intercept it brought them back down to earth.
