Also I think Ponga will probably be playing rugby union before he signs with another NRL club.

you'll be looking at paying at least $1.5 million EACH to Ponga and Munster ... especially with the second Brisbane team coming in need a top shelf marquee

Thats no certainty - the TV deal offered to NRL is nowhere near enough to fund expansion...

This idea may have to be put back on the shelf....

I think with Ezra Mam and Karl Oluapu coming through we might be a bit more desperate for a fullback. I'd be going Ponga, if we steal his best mate and offer him a good contract, it might be hard to refuse.

We can give Connor, a portion of Asiatas 500k deal, cause i doubt we will re-sign him. Then offer Ponga Oates, Turpins and the the remaining cap on TPJ and get a couple depth players to fill up those remaining positions. 1.1-1.2m and just give a q-cup player a squad spot and i think we come out of it well

Niu, Cobbo and Hammer can all play centre, wing or fullback.

Someone said we've re-signed Niu but I'm not sure that's true.

Out of those 3, I'd say Cobbo should be the highest priority for the long term.

Yeah, I agree.. But I have a feeling Craig Fitzgibbon might have his sights set on him coming to the Sharks.. They probably have a connection from their time at Roosters. He seems like a Sharks signing and someone who would probably stay in NSW. Possibly someone Trent Barrett would look to sign to Dogs too.
