Completion rate of 32/39 (82%)... don't try and put it on the whole team when you are specifically talking about Kennedy's drop after Mead takes a screamer off the short kick off.At the end of the day, discipline and not holding the ball cost us that game. Too many dumb errors.
Avoiding the excuses for the sake of the team... he did let out a "if that decides a GF"... but all the idiot reporters missed it, even though Kev had actually taken the bait.Kevvie ffs mate show some balls.
Journo flat out asked him if they were dudded by the refs in that final 5 minutes and he says no.
predictable. ricky robbo even hook has a crack at them. i love Kevvie but he needs to push back on things. at least occasionallyKevvie ffs mate show some balls.

It would be childish if it were for childish reasons. However, when there are legitimate reasons (many of which have been explained in other posts), the least of those being the NRL being supported heavily by a betting agency AND being run by a former bookmaker, it is hardly childish to question the integrity of a corporation when you notice it.I don't disagree.
It really isn't. It's just a childish way to look for excuses for losing.

So I went back and watched to make sure I wasn't talking shit in the heat of the moment. Definite knock on at the play the ball, and that's what Klein signalled.Klein made a late ruling and ruled on a mistake made in the tackle is my guess.
It was a sloppy situation all-round.
It's exactly the same as the one on Reynolds several years ago in the Easter Sunday game... he might be going for a charge down, but he's come from the inside and makes contact with the legs... you don't just get a reprieve "because you tried real hard and it's not his go" despite what Gus spews every week. The radley penalty was a bit stiff in the sense that he was just trying to charge the ball down but it went pear shaped… but it was still a penalty…
the penalty at the end there was soooo fucking corrupt I’m going to blame the Russians
Reaching back, didn't Prince break his leg in similar tackle? Victor is a tough competitor but he's always pushing the envelope. The radley penalty was a bit stiff in the sense that he was just trying to charge the ball down but it went pear shaped… but it was still a penalty…

true. was talking about tinights presserthis, the last thing this team needs is for the coach to make excuses for them
Hook never did as Broncos coach
The issue I have is WHEN is a play finished, and when does it begin? For example, if a knock-on occurs in the PTB, surely that would be the CURRENT play and not the play before. The ref calling held or release is when the old play ends and the new play begins (IMO).I didn't have much of an issue with the Flegler penalty, personally.
It was reviewable because the knock-on occurred in the play the ball prior to the ball clearing the ruck. You can certainly debate whether or not it was a 'reportable' offense, but given what we've seen over the last few months, it probably was. Let's not forget that Flegler was put on report for the shot on Radley early in the first half, and I don't think that shot even made contact with the head. If that shot is on report, a forearm to the nose probably is as well.
I may have to walk back my foul play comment. In the case of foul play, it can only be challenged by a team which has been penalised. All other incidents of
foul play are separately reviewed by the Bunker.
