Great game by Flegler and with the addition of Reynolds and Capewell next year and the removal of the duds Milford and Coates I'm liking our improvement for next year. Fingers crossed that Rhys Kennedy is told he's welcome to look elsewhere as well.

Exactly. Next time someone cops a definite high shot that the ref misses, just keep it in the bank until the opposition scores and then activate the challenge.

I remember early on in an interview Vlandys said that the NRL was entertainment, I found it unsettling at the time but didn’t realise until recently how true he was when he said that. This game is basically the WWE now.

Can't really blame Milford or Coates tonight, Coates dropped one which resulted in a try but he also set one up

Milford came on late in the game, maybe he could've been a bit smarter with that kick he put down but outside of a couple of years of being the worst half in the league you can't really blame anything from tonight on him

Neither will be missed but again, can't blame them for the loss

Our forwards really stood up and came of age as a pack tonight. If we had Staggs and Reynolds in there or even Herbie our backline would at least have had some threat. At present we have nothing. Our backs aut there tonight had nothing really.

I've pretty clearly described how the game is controlled by the video ref who just quietly pulls the strings, the ref in the middle is just the pawn.

incompetent look at Sutton in the raiders game deadset they got used to 2 refs and have not adapted
